Great friendly people! We are from Louisiana and they made us feel at home and told us about some great local spots to try! Code was great along with the breakfast! We even got a chicken salad to go for lunch, banana pudding and banana pudding cheesecake!

I ended up in Lascassas to pick up mail, didn’t end up being at the right place due to the mess that is our poor postal service rn due to defunding Alas, I noticed how cute this place was (SO CUTE), and the postal lady said it was a great restaurant so I figured I would try it out and hopefully add a little good to a poopy situation. They were so friendly and even though I’m Celiac and my options were limited, I got a burger with no bun & it was genuinely the BEST burger I have had in a long time. Don’t know where they get their meat from but I’m assuming that the cows are local because of how good the quality was. I’ll probably never be back to Lascassas, but if you’re here, give them a try!! You won’t regret the burger I promise

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem in Our Small Town! Busy Bee Cafe is an absolute treasure! The food is delicious, fresh, and comes out super quick — perfect for a lunch break or a casual bite. The fried bologna sandwich was a standout, full of flavor and cooked just right. Don’t skip the desserts either — they were absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is adorable — very southern, cozy, and welcoming. The staff is incredibly sweet and make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It’s the kind of place that makes you proud to have it in your hometown. Can’t wait to go back!

The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is great—welcoming and relaxed. That said, $29.07 for just two sandwiches and two Cokes (no sides included) felt a bit steep for our family's budget. Thankfully, the lunch specials are a much better deal—$10 for a burger, drink, and a bag of chips (when chips are available). Unfortunately, they were out of chips during our last visit. The chicken salad is excellent—definitely a highlight. As for the burgers, they seemed more like they were precooked (not made to order) and ready to serve, which was a bit disappointing. Still, it’s a neat spot and much closer than heading into town, so the convenience is a big plus. If the prices were more down-to-earth and better reflected the value, this would easily be a five-star spot.

If you haven’t been to Busy Bee Cafe in Lascassas, you’re missing out! The sweetest family owns it, and you can feel the love the moment you walk in. They even let my dog come inside. Not only did he get water, but they petted him AND gave him some ham…I’m not sure if dogs are normally allowed, but the owner was kind enough to make us feel so welcome. The vibe is kinda like Cracker Barrel, but way better because it’s local, family-run, and everyone there was just radiating that good old Southern hospitality. 10/10, highly recommend (my dog does too).
